Sen. Tim Scott publicly introduced his girlfriend, Mindy Noce, after the Republican debate, confirming their relationship.
This move comes after Scott had previously kept Noce out of the public eye on the campaign trail.
The introduction of Noce may not significantly impact his presidential campaign, as he currently ranks fifth among GOP candidates. (Trending: Donald Trump Loses His Cool At High-Stakes $250 Million Trial)

Fox News’ Brian Kilmeade asked, “What is your status?”
“At this point I’m taken,” Scott replied. “I have a wonderful girlfriend and we have a wonderful relationship. The good news is, God has blessed me with a smart Christian woman.”
Despite media curiosity about his romantic life, Scott has emphasized that a candidate’s relationship status should not matter when determining fitness for the presidency.
Tim Scott’s campaign is facing challenges in Iowa and New Hampshire, prompting his adviser to urge donors to support him until the primary reaches South Carolina, emphasizing the importance of winning votes there.
Despite a recent improved debate performance, Scott lags behind in public polling, with national averages at just under 3 percent.
While he performs better in South Carolina, he still trails behind other rivals, including former Gov. Nikki Haley and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, with Trump leading in the state.
“It shouldn’t be lost on us that we’re still going to win the votes in South Carolina,” Mikee Johnson, Scott’s national finance co-chair, told donors.
“And this is where we make the difference, right? We make the difference when we win South Carolina.”
