The strikes targeted a facility used by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and other affiliated groups.

“This precision self-defense strike is a response to a series of attacks against U.S. personnel in Iraq and Syria by IRGC-Quds Force affiliates.”
The Biden administration has been criticized for its soft stance toward Iran, especially given Iran’s direct involvement in terrorist attacks.
Biden also allowed UN prohibitions on Iran’s ballistic missile and drone programs to lapse, drawing additional heat.
“In yet another attempt to appease Tehran, the United States allowed UN prohibitions on Iran’s ballistic missile and drone programs to lapse on October 18,” one report stated.
“The administration did not work with European powers to trigger the snapback of UN sanctions.”
