Former President Donald Trump expressed his openness to considering Tucker Carlson as his running mate if he becomes the GOP’s 2024 nominee.
Trump praised Carlson’s common sense and mentioned the importance of safe borders and walls.
This comes despite Carlson’s past private messages expressing disdain for Trump.

“I like Tucker a lot, I guess I would,” Trump said.
“I think I’d say I would because he’s got great common sense,” Trump added.
“You know, when they say that you guys are conservative, or I’m conservative, it’s not that we’re conservative, we have common sense. We want to have safe borders. We want to have a wall because walls work,” Trump concluded.
Additionally, far-right Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene and others have been mentioned as potential running mates for Trump.
