Former President Donald Trump appeared in court for a civil fraud case regarding his asset valuation, clashing with Justice Arthur Engoron.

Trump went off on a monologue, prompting Engoron to instruct him to only answer questions, rather than give speeches.

The judge expressed frustration with Trump’s behavior and his lawyers defended him, leading to a tense atmosphere in the courtroom. (Trending: Donald Trump Loses His Cool At High-Stakes $250 Million Trial)

Engoron questioned Trump’s lawyer Christopher Kise, “Can you control your client? This is not a political rally.”

Kise shot back, “You’re in control of the courtroom, not me.”

Trump went on to criticize the trial, and took digs at New York Attorney General Letitia James. (Trending: Federal Court Rules Against Gun Owners)

“This is a very unfair trial. Very, very unfair, and I hope the public is watching it,” the former President stated.
