Country musician Cody Tate posted a viral video on Instagram showing a group of adults raiding a bowl of Halloween candy meant for trick-or-treaters.

The video captured three women and a man taking all the candy, even stuffing it into their bags and clothing.

Tate expressed his disappointment in the caption, highlighting the impact on the children who would come after.

“And this is why you can’t trust people,” Tate wrote.

“If you know who it is share. I figured it would happen but not adults. Now all the kids after these people can’t have any candy.”

The situation was resolved, however, when one of Tate’s neighbors refilled the candy bowl.

“There are still good people out there! Neighbor Scott for Halloween MVP!” Tate later said with a video of his neighbor refilling the bowl.
