A national poll conducted by Quinnipiac University showed that independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. garnered 22% support among registered voters in a hypothetical three-way matchup for the 2024 election.

President Joe Biden led with 39% support, followed closely by former President Donald Trump with 36%.

In a four-way contest including left-wing activist Cornel West, Kennedy’s support dropped slightly to 19%.

Kennedy’s candidacy appears to be appealing to younger voters, independents, and minority groups, with around a third of Hispanic voters supporting him.

“With minority and younger voters seeming intrigued, Kennedy, for now, enjoys the kind of demographic support his charismatic father and uncles generated decades ago,” Quinnipiac University polling analyst Tim Malloy stated.

The poll also measured candidate favorability, with 31% of voters having a favorable opinion of Kennedy.

The survey polled 1,610 registered voters with a margin of error of plus-or-minus 2.4 percentage points.
