Britney Spears Drops Numerous Bombshells

via CBS

Britney Spears’ new memoir, “The Woman In Me,” which was released recently, contains several shocking revelations.

One of the bombshells she revealed is that she had an abortion at the age of 19 while she was dating Justin Timberlake.

Additionally, she opened up about her experiences of teen drinking with her mom, feeling “objectified” by her parents and the media, and more.

“For fun, starting when I was in eighth grade, my mom [Lynne] and I would make the two-hour drive from Kentwood to Biloxi, Mississippi, and while we were there, we would drink daiquiris,” Spears wrote. “We called our cocktails ‘toddies.’”

“I loved that I was able to drink with my mom every now and then. The way we drank was nothing like how my father did it,” she added. “When he drank, he grew more depressed and shut down. We became happier, more alive and adventurous.”

According to People magazine, the 41-year-old singer described her childhood as anything but ordinary.

She mentioned that she and her mom, Lynne, used to make a two-hour drive from Kentwood to Biloxi, Mississippi for fun. During their trips, they would enjoy drinking daiquiris, which they referred to as “toddies.”

Spears expressed her fondness for being able to occasionally drink with her mom, highlighting that their drinking habits were different from her father’s.

While her father’s drinking would lead to depression and withdrawal, their drinking made them feel happier, more alive, and more adventurous.
