Sara Haines, co-host of “The View,” questioned why the recent attacks by Hamas terrorists against Israeli civilians had led to anger being directed at Israel rather than Hamas.
In seven words, Haines explained the difference between Irsael and Hamas terrorists: “Israel built bomb shelters, Hamas built tunnels”
Haines noted that Gaza was governed by Hamas, which routinely withheld humanitarian aid from civilians and used it to support further attacks against Israel.

“You can say Israel has questionable policies — a lot of Israelis feel that, Jewish people feel that, I’ve seen that, they have questionable policies,” she said.
“But where is the rage, when people talk about them living — Palestinians — in an ‘open air [prison]’ that the governing body intercepts aid?”
“Whereas Israel built bomb shelters to protect its people, Hamas built tunnels to further attack its neighbors,” she continued, saying that the bottom line was that some people were obviously in favor of coexistence and others were not.
She cited remarks from former President Barack Obama, who said that Israel had attempted to come to an agreement on a two-state solution, but every proposed solution had been rejected by the Palestinian side.
Co-host Sunny Hostin pointed out that Hamas had remained in power since 2005 without allowing people to vote. When the conversation became tense, co-host Whoopi Goldberg took the show to a break.
