Harvard Law Professor Alan Dershowitz criticized students who blamed Israel for the Hamas terrorist attacks and suggested that they should volunteer in Gaza, particularly members of groups representing gay and transgender students for Palestine.

Islamic law hands out very harsh prison sentences to individuals who to engage in homosexuality or attempt to “transition” genders. Some families even carry out “honor killings” to their own families members.

Israel, on the other hand, protects the civil rights of LGTBQ individuals to a greater extent than the entire the Middle East.

In the U.S., many Democrats and left-wing groups have stood in support in Palestinian Hamas terrorists, rather than Israel.

He argued that their willingness to overlook Hamas’ mistreatment of marginalized groups is evidence of antisemitism.

Dershowitz highlighted the contradiction of supporting groups that oppress gays, transgender individuals, and women while simultaneously hating Jews and Israel.

He likened this behavior to Nazism.

Dershowitz stated, “[L]et these students who signed this demonstration blaming it all on Israel, let them go and volunteer, gay students for Palestine, in Gaza, transgender students for Palestine, in Gaza.”

“You know how long they would last? One day, they’d be hanging from the rafters. The best proof that this is all antisemitism…is that these groups that they support hate gays — they hang them — hate transgender people, hate women, treat them as third-class citizens.”

He added, “And yet, these protesters are willing to give them a pass on these core issues, as long as they also hate Jews and the nation-state of the Jewish people. This is Nazism [2023].”
