Donald Trump continues to stand by Rudy Giuliani through ongoing legal battles and substantial fees.
Trump appears to value Giuliani’s proximity to his actions, believing that Giuliani has unique insights into what Trump did during his tenure.
Ari Melber said, “I think that the through line is maybe Donald Trump and his folks think that Rudy Giuliani knows more about directly what Donald Trump did in a way that some of these other lawyers were a step away.”

Trump organized a fundraiser at his Bedminster, New Jersey golf club, where tickets were priced at an astonishing $100,000 per plate.
Giuliani’s son, Andrew, hopes this will lower his father’s legal expenses, potentially over $1 million.
He said it would be “very helpful” but, “It won’t be enough to get through this.”
To secure financial support, Giuliani established both the Giuliani Defense PAC and the Rudy Giuliani Freedom Fund, aimed at gathering funds to cover his legal fees.
He even listed his Manhattan apartment for sale at a price of $6.5 million.
Giuliani is currently facing multiple legal challenges, including being named as a co-accused in a Georgia indictment related to alleged election interference.
He is the subject of defamation lawsuits filed by two voting equipment companies and a mother-daughter duo who were election workers in the state.
Giuliani is in arrears of approximately $260,000 in payments to an ex-wife and is also involved in a lawsuit for $2 million from a former employee for wages that were not paid and alleged instances of forced intimate actions.
Trump’s support is making people wonder if Giuliani holds key insights into Trump’s wrongdoing.
